Natalia Espinoza is a visual artist who works intuitively, drawing inspiration from her immediate surroundings. Her creative focus is deeply rooted in exploring the cultural heritage of her home country.
For the past decade, she has led the Perro de Loza workshop, where she both conceptualizes and creates ceramic art and design projects. The workshop also serves as an open space for individuals interested in hands-on creativity.
Espinoza holds a degree in Fine Arts with a specialization in Ceramics from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in the Netherlands. Upon returning to Ecuador, she established her workshop in Quito, which has been an integral part of the Colectivo Cultural De la Floresta since 2014. This collective plays an active role in fostering a vibrant, diverse, and culturally engaged neighborhood.
