Tatjana Angermeyer

Tatjana Angermeyer was raised in the Galapagos Islands and educated in Quito, Ecuador. She earned her Master of Arts in Art Education from Columbia College Chicago in 2006, and her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2003. Her preferred medium is oil painting.

Although best known for her portrait work, in 2020 she shifted her focus to capturing the landscapes and wildlife of the Galapagos.

She currently lives and paints in her home studio on Santa Cruz Island.
