WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

In 2001, we, Paola and Martin, opened our first gallery, GALERÍA AYMARA, in Puerto Ayora, Galápagos.

For nearly 20 years, we had the privilege of offering exquisite jewelry and exceptional Latin American art to a discerning clientele.

However, 2020 brought about significant changes. One of these changes was the closing of Galería Aymara and the relaunch of our new venture, SAMAY LATIN ART.

SAMAY, meaning spirit or soul in Quechua, embodies the essence of our renewed vision — a fusion of ancestral and contemporary Latin American art.

As part of this journey, we are dedicated to supporting both emerging and established artists from Ecuador and the Galápagos, providing them with a platform to share their work with the world. With that in mind, we are proud to introduce Tatjana Angermeyer, Magno Bennett and Nina Lempenauer, three exeptional artists from Santa Cruz Island who now exhibit their work at SAMAY Latin Art.
